17 1/2" by 29 1/2", this towel combines the practicality of huck linen, that textured weave of Irish linen so prized by our mothers and grandmothers for its absorbency and lint-free polishing, with a damask pattern and hand finishing. Lengthwise edges are selvege; both ends are finished with a single row of open hemstitching. A woven pattern of curving leaves and curly-ques borders the textured center. In the center front a floral garland frames an oval medallion, suitable for monogramming, if you wish. This towel is in very good condition; washed, ironed and ready for you. |
