Each 21" by 37", these two towels combine the practicality of ivory-tone huck linen, that textured weave of Irish linen so prized by our mothers and grandmothers for its absorbency and lint-free polishing, with hand finishing. Lengthwise edges are selvege; both ends are finished with a single row of open hemstitching. A woven stripe borders the hemstitching. A 2 3/4" by 3 3/4" diamond-shaped medallion is embroidered on the front.. Points to sides and top and sharply angled EUR create an art deco flair. The monogram medallion is worked in padded satin stitch for that three-dimensional effect. These towels are clean and in excellent condition.
