Lengthwise edges are selvege; both ends are fringed.

A 5 3/4" design crosses the front. Golden-yellow threads cross the towel horizontally, weaving over and under to form intricate geometric stripes and a row of elephants.

There is a slight discoloration on one of the elephant's legs. Otherwise, these towels are clean and in excellent condition. They appear never to have been used.
