22" by 72", this table runner combines the subtle texture of ivory-tone linen with exquisite handmade lace.
The back edge is selvege.
5" white, Battenberg lace, continuous and unseamed, trims the front and sides. Lavish additions of buttonhole-stitched rings, in graduated sizes, adds a three-dimensional effect. Ecru woven wheels add a subtle color-contrast.
This runner is in good, but not perfect, condition lived with and loved; there is one tiny hole in the fabric and several broken connector threads near one corner of the lace (see left photo) no spots or stains, ; washed, ironed and ready for your home.
