15" by 35 1/2", this runner combines the subtle texture of white linen with handmade figural lace.
A single row of open hemstitching finishes the fabric, criss-crossing at the corners.
Two 7" by 11 1/2" figural lace ovals have been inserted. Each shows a lady picking fruit. The closely-worked design stands out against a very open, lacy picot-connector background. Different weaves within the design define the details.
I see one broken connector within the lace. This runner is in very good condition (lived with and loved; no spots, stains or holes); washed, ironed and ready for your home.
