18" by 38", this table runner or dresser scarf combines the subtle texture of white linen with handmade lace and embroidery.
1" white crocheted lace borders the fabric, continuous and unseamed. Fan patterns result in a scalloped shape. Dainty picots finish the edge.
Baskets of daisy-petal flowers are embroidered at either end. Floral garlands curve along the sides. Yellow French knot flower-centers add a three-dimensional touch. Shades of blue, pink and lavender predominate.
One of the garlands frames the monogram. The 1 3/4" Old English Q is worked in blue padded satin stitch for a raised effect.
