This 10 1/2" by 14 1/2" piece combines the subtle texture of natural-colored linen with beautiful hand embroidery. As you can see in my photo, the margins are tight....you have about 3/4" top and bottom, almost nothing at the sides. So, you should plan on using a frame or mat with an inner opening of about 10" by 13 1/4". The outline and petal-stitched scene shows young shepherd or shepherdess with the flock. The cross-stitched text below begins the beloved twenty-third psalm "THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WANT". Shades of blue and green predominate. This picture is in very good condition; washed, ironed and ready for framing.
