The ivory-tone linen center is cut following the contours of a shells design. Ecru silk finishing and embroidery add a soft glow.

Closely-worked buttonhole stitching finishes the scalloped edge. Cutwork lace alternates with Madeira seed dot ridges of the shells. Dainty embroidered floral vines twine between the lacy shells.

This hanky is in good, but not perfect, condition; as you can see in the photos, there are a few broken connector threads within the cutwork lace; no holes, spots or stains. It has been washed and ironed and is ready for you.
