H-1385 A Vintage Wedding Hankie

A hand-rolled hem finishes the fine, white lawn-linen center. Drawnthread lace forms geometric patterns. Flowers and curly-ques have been cut from white fabric and appliqued onto the hanky with lacy pulled stitching. Net lace inserts make sheer, textured flower-centers.

1 3/4" handmade lace trims the hankie. Open-diamond hairpin lace connects tatted circles. Dainty picots feather around the edge.

This hanky is in very good, but not quite perfect, condition; a few of the connector threads are broken (see top lace of top photo) and could be re-attached. It has been washed and ironed and is ready for you.
