Each 9" diameter, these eight doilies combine the subtle texture of fine white linen with handmade lace.The fabric is cut to a gentle six-pointed star shape to accommodate the contours of the lace border.
3" of lace borders the center. Several widths and patterns of tape laces fold and curve into outlines, flowers and curly-ques. Six open, lacy, marquise-shaped medallions frame tri-petal flowers. Picot-embellished connectors join flowers and outlines. Scallops and large blossoms alternate around the medallions. Tiny diamonds and dots patterns texturize open areas. Dainty picots finish the outer edge.
These doilies have been stored for many years and have not been freshly laundered.
As you can see in the photo to the left, one doily has a pinhead-size hole. Otherwise they are in very good condition (lived with and loved; no spots, stains,
or damage).
